Disney World is always doing something new to help its guests have a better experience. The Genie app was released on October 19th, 2021. Guests of Disney World continue to use this app to make their experience even better! You can add the Disney Genie+ service to your ticket for $15 a person.

“In addition to getting all of the great features that come with the complimentary Disney Genie service, purchasing Disney Genie+ service will offer even more convenience and flexibility, for $15 plus tax (USD) per ticket per day. “
“You can add Disney Genie+ service to an existing ticket or package—or select Disney Genie+ service as an add-on option for a new ticket purchase.”

How Does Lightning Lane in Genie Plus Work?
You’ll find that each Lightning Lane attraction works very similarly to how the FastPass+ system worked. However, with Genie Plus, you can only start making reservations that day! So, at 7 AM of your ticketed day, you can start selecting your ride.
You can also make a second selection AFTER you redeem that first selection. You can also do a second selection when the first selection’s arrival window has passed. You can also make a second selection 120 minutes AFTER you made your first selection. You can literally do this all day long!
