Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow noodles
  • 2 cups milk, 2%
  • 12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese (block)
  • 4 ounces gouda cheese (block)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup butter cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Cooking spray or crockpot liner

Instructions

  1. Either line your crockpot with a liner, or spray with cooking spray.
  2. Shred both of the cheeses.
  3. Fill a large pot halfway with water and boil, then add noodles, boil for 6 minutes, and drain.
  4. Toss the noodles with olive oil, then add to the crockpot.
  5. Add milk and stir.
  6. Add shredded cheeses and seasonings. Stir well to combine.
  7. Arrange cubed butter on top of the macaroni mixture.
  8. Cook on low for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and stir well.
  9. Cook for another 10-15 minutes, stir and serve hot.
