3 Ingredient Meatball Appetizer Recipe

Thank you to Cuisinart for sponsoring this post. I received a product in exchange for this post. As always, I only work with brands I use and love.

Does anyone else love party food like I do? I love everything about finger foods. Most of them are easy to prep, easy to eat and even easier to clean up! With the Super Bowl on Sunday, I have been thinking about my menu and what to serve for the big game. One of the appetizers that I serve almost every time we have a party is my mom’s famous 3 ingredient meatballs. Not only are they delicious, they are easy to make!

First, I start with frozen meatballs. Sure, you can make your own meatballs, but for the sake of this recipe and the sake of time-I like to use frozen meatballs. I cook the meatballs to my Cuisinart 6-Quart 3 in 1 Cook Central Multicooker.

Can we talk about this multicooker for a minute?

It’s one of the best tools to have in your kitchen! If you are busy like me, then your slow cooker is your best friend. However, after awhile-slow cooker recipes can get a little repetitive. This multicooker also has options for browning and steaming foods! I can’t wait to make veggies in here for our little man. It has made my life so much easier! A few of my favorite features are:

  • The steam rack-perfect for veggies!
  • The cooking pot is not only non-stick but it’s dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze
  • The digital programming feature-you can program it to cook for a certain amount of time and leave it. Great for those slow cooker recipes that only need to cook for a few hours.
  • After the dish is done cooking, it automatically goes to the ‘keep warm’ function, so you don’t have to worry about the dish being cold when you get home!

I highly recommend the Cuisinart 6 Quart 3-In-1 Cook Central® Multicooker!

Ok, let’s get back to our yummy meatball recipe.

After you’ve added the frozen meatballs to your multicooker, cover them with chili sauce. You can find this in the ketchup aisle of your grocery store (I know, because I have searched many a store for it, only to find-it’s hiding in plain sight).

Once you’ve added the chili sauce, add your grape jelly, cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the meatballs are cooked. I also stir mine a few times as they get closer to being cooked so that all of the flavors mesh, but there’s no need to stir at first-it gives the jelly time to warm and melt over the meatballs.

While this isn’t the fanciest recipe, it is a delicious and hearty meal for parties, or just for a light dinner one night! Enjoy!
