Valentine’s Hot Chocolate
You only need a few simple ingredients to make this Valentine’s hot chocolate recipe, and you can make it in just a few minutes. If you wanted you could even serve this strawberry hot chocolate for a Valentine’s day breakfast. You will need some quality white baking chocolates for melting, as well as a pinch of sugar and salt. Vanilla extract, strawberry milk, and red food coloring round out the recipe.
You will also need a little whipped topping and sprinkles if you are going to let the kids go all out and decorate their strawberry hot chocolate. You can find lots of amazing Valentine themed sprinkles this time of year! You could also top this beautiful pink hot chocolate with marshmallows in white or pink. Strawberry Hot Chocolate
- 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 6 Cubes Baker's White Chocolate
- 2 Pinches Salt
- 3/4 Quart Strawberry Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 5 Drops Red Food Coloring
- 1 Cup Whipped Topping
- 1/2 Cup Sprinkles
Start by adding sugar, chocolate, salt, and water to a sauce pan.
Stir on medium heat until melted and combined well.
Add in strawberry milk and vanilla.
Bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
Add in food coloring and stir well.
Top with whip cream and sprinkles.
Serve and enjoy!
