To put it simply, these Mini Apple Pie Bombs are small servings of apple pie. They are loaded up with melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, and caramel syrup. With each bite, you get that familiar apple pie taste! However, you don’t have to worry about messing these up in the kitchen because they are just simple!

After seeing how delicious these look, you may be wondering WHAT these bombs need ingredient wise. The list is short, but the outcome is mouth watering and amazing! 

  • Apples. The star of the show are apples! You can’t make this recipe without them. 
  • Brown Sugar. You already know that brown sugar is going to make this recipe taste amazing!
  • Cinnamon. You can’t go wrong adding cinnamon to any fall recipe! 
  • Prepared pie crust. I love that these Apple Pie Bombs call for prepared pie crust. You don’t have to worry about trying to figure out a homemade crust. 

Now, these are just the ingredients for making the apple pie bombs, however, the topping brings everything to a whole new level. 

How to Make Mini Apple Pie Bombs 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Peel and dice apples into ½ inch pieces.

Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and water to a medium skillet, and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, until the apples are tender.

Let set for 5 minutes to cool down.

Unroll pie crust onto baking sheet, and cut into 4 equal pieces.

Add ¼ of the filling to the middle of each piece of pie sheet, and bunch sides to the middle, pinching at the very top to seal.

Bake for 15 minutes, and remove from the oven.

Stir together the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.

Melt butter, and brush each pie bomb with butter. Then sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture.

Drizzle caramel on top of each pie bomb.

Best served warm!

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 prepared pie crust
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Caramel syrup
