How to Make Homemade Doritos

  1. Combine seasonings into a bowl.
  2. Slice the tortillas into 6-8 equal.
  3. Heat the oil to and fry on both sides for a total of 3-4 mins.
  4. Go ahead and remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. Don’t forget to toss in homemade Doritos in the seasonings.
  6. Repeat until you use up all of the tortillas!

Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pack (15 pieces) corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

    1. Combine seasonings into bowl
    2. Slice the tortillas into 6-8 equal
    3. Heat the oil to 350F
    4. Fry on both sides for a total of 3-4 mins
    5. Remove and drain on paper towels 
    6. Toss in seasonings
    7. Repeat

Notes

If doing large batches add seasoning to ziplock bag and shake after frying. 

If airfrying be sure to spray with a little olive oil, toss in seasonings and then air fry for the most flavor.
