A Disney Cruise VS Disney World, which one will you choose?
If you are given the option to go on a Disney Cruise or go to Disney World, which one would you choose? While both are excellent options, you may need additional information to help you make an informed decision.
Disney Cruise vs Disney World
A Disney Cruise would involve boarding a cruise ship and staying on it for several days. With the standard cruise price, you’ll be able to experience entertainment, dining, recreation, and much more.
Disney World is where you’d get to experience magic, right in Florida! A one day ticket would include you choosing which park to attend. The four theme parks include Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios (you could purchase a park hopper to be able to visit multiple parks on one day)!
Both are great options, but how do you know which one is right for your family?
Disney fans choose a Disney Cruise for a reason. Disney Cruises offer character entertainment. Also, when you choose a cruise, you’ll be able to see Broadway caliber musicals and you’ll always get access to Disney characters in some new and exciting way!
List of the most popular Disney Cruise Ships
If you didn’t know this, fireworks are also included on most Disney Cruises. So, if it’s the fireworks that you love, then a Disney Cruise is for you!
Disney’s Private Island
Most people have no idea that Disney has its own private island. On Castaway Cay, you’ll have access to everything from waterslides to a 5K race, to a yummy BBQ lunch.
Dining Options Galore
A Disney Cruise may be right for your family just for the fact that there are so many dining options. You’ll have access to casual dining options, upscale restaurants, and 24 hour room service!
Keep in mind that there are several other reasons to choose a Disney Cruise. The pools and recreation, lounges, and let’s not forget about the themed clubs for every age!
If you aren’t quite sure if a Disney Cruise vs Disney World is right for you, it’s important to know what Disney World offers. I’ve already touched on some of the perks of a Disney Cruise, let’s talk about Disney World for a second.
Interacting with Characters
Perhaps one of the best reasons families choose Disney World is that they get to interact with the Disney characters in real life. Getting to meet and greet the characters all in one spot is so fulfilling!
All the Food Options
Another reason someone may choose Disney World is all of the food options. Snagging a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar or a turkey leg is what some people live for during their visit. Some popular restaurants that people seek out at Disney World include Victoria and Albert’s, ‘Ohana, Le Cellier Steakhouse, and many more.
Attractions and Shows
The main reason families LOVE visiting Disney World is for the attractions and shows! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Expedition Everest, Space Mountain, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are all super popular attractions. Your family might get a great delight in seeing Beauty and the Beast live on stage or Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King.
The cost of a cruise versus a Disney parks vacation is also something to consider, make sure you compare the price of both options before making a final decision.
When it comes to your next trip, which one is right for your family? After breaking down what each option offers, it may be hard to choose. My advice is to do both at least once in your lifetime. You just can’t beat the Disney magic!
