The Ultimate Mother and Daughter Day in Nashville

I am still reminiscing about our recent weekend in Nashville, TN! Many of you know that mom and I plan a weekend girls’ trip every year. This year’s destination: Nashville, Tennessee! We headed to Music City, a few hours from where I live for a weekend full of shopping, delicious food and relaxation!
As soon as we arrived in Nashville, we headed for The Mall at Green Hills! We didn’t want to spend our weekend driving from destination to destination, so when we started reading all that the Mall at Green Hills has to offer, we decided to start there. Several of you have asked for full details of our wonderful mother/daughter day, so today I’m sharing our full schedule! Feel free to adjust your schedule however you’d like, this is just a guide – but let me tell you: it was an AMAZING day!
1:00 PM – Brunch at North Italia
We arrived just in time for brunch at North Italia. We were one of the lucky few to be able to preview the North Italia experience before the restaurant was even open to the public! I cannot WAIT to go back! Their food is made from scratch and it truly tastes like you are eating in Italy! I was highly impressed with both the food AND the service at North Italia. When I return to Nashville at the end of the month, North Italia is at the top of my list for ‘must visit’ restaurants. They also currently have a special from now through the end of December: $25 Bottle and Board (choice of: pizza, bruschetta, or chef’s board & a bottle of the featured red or white) available weekdays 3-6pm.
2:30 PM –Facials & Makeup at Aveda
This was SUCH a fun part of our trip. We started off with relaxing mini-facials at Aveda and they finished up by doing our makeup. I have struggled with finding the perfect foundation for a LONG time, but Aveda solved that problem! I love their tinted moisturizer and have used it everyday since our experience at Aveda in Nashville! The Aveda team was so helpful and wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend stopping in whenever you are in Nashville!

Quick Stop Into Lush
We didn’t have a ton of time to spend in Lush, but I plan to drop in next time I’m visiting! They did provide us with a goodie bag full of amazing bath bombs and bath products. Levi STILL talks about how much he loves their bath bombs.
3:30 PM – Shopping!
Of course we couldn’t visit The Mall at Green Hills without shopping! There are so many wonderful stores in the mall from Nordstrom to Tiffany to Louis Vuitton. I was in shopping heaven! We don’t have many luxury stores near where we live, so being able to have some of my favorite stores in one place was amazing! One of the best parts of the trip was surprising my mom with her first Louis Vuitton! I had planned it for a few weeks, but it was amazing to be there when she picked out her first Louis Vuitton bag… it was so fun to go through that experience with her! We also stopped into Macy’s where I found some amazing deals on adorable clothes for the kids!
5:15: Coffee and Chocolate Tasting at Colts Chocolates
Even though we were still pretty full from our wonderful brunch, I knew that I wanted to stop by Colts Chocolate stand. I have heard so many wonderful things about their treats, that I had to see for myself if they were really all they are said to be. Let me tell you: they are even better! The chocolate covered animal cookies is now a favorite in our house!
Last Stop: Instagram Photos
Did it really happen if it’s not posted on Instagram? Ha! As a blogger, I’m constantly looking for beautiful photo ops and The Mall at Green Hills did not disappoint! I loved the murals in the mall, they are gorgeous and perfect for our mother/daughter photos!
I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience at The Mall at Green Hills. It was a memorable mother/daughter day that I hope I get to experience with my little girl in the future! Everyone at The Mall was amazing and it’s truly a wonderful destination – my only regret? Not being able to spend the entire weekend there (although, we did go back for a few hours on day 2!).
