Family Getaway to Black Fox Lodge

You all know my love for the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, area. It’s truly one of our favorite places to visit! Recently, we were given the opportunity to visit the Black Fox Lodge, Pigeon Forge’s newest hotel! It was a true treat and one of our newest favorite getaway spots. I cannot say enough nice things about the lodge, their staff and the accommodations. Today, I’m excited to share just a few of the amazing things that the Black Fox Lodge has to offer! 

As soon as you pull up to the Black Fox Lodge, you are greeted with gorgeous landscape and breathtaking river views. The lobby of the hotel reminds you of a true lodge-including rock fire places and barn doors. The check-in staff were so kind and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed.

 When we entered the room, I was stunned! It was HUGE. Perfect for our family of three and the fact that we could put our little one’s pack and play in the living room, while we slept in the bedroom was a huge plus. We have always struggled when we travel – when his pack and play is right next to us he doesn’t sleep as well. I’m pretty sure my hubby liked the two tv’s in the room also (one in the living area, one in the bedroom).

The beds in the room were so comfy and the linens were just as luxurious. However, I think that my favorite features about the room were the master bath and the balcony. The master bath had not only a gorgeous shower but also a soaking jetted tub. This momma’s back seems to hurt all the time, and soaking in the tub was pure relaxation for me! The balcony was the perfect place to watch the river and unwind. The only thing that I regret was not being able to drink coffee and watch the sunrise on the balcony (next time!).

If you are visiting the Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg area, I highly recommend the Black Fox Lodge! It’s the perfect location for families and couples. With the outdoor pool, delicious continental breakfast (which is more like a gourmet breakfast), restaurant and bar on site, friendly staff and gorgeous rooms-you can’t go wrong! We can’t wait to go back!
