Clean Your Windows The Chemical Free Way

This post is sponsored by e-cloth® . As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

By now, you know how much I love e-cloth®! Their products are chemical free and give me peace of mind when cleaning around not only our little one, but our entire family. I do have a confession to make though: I am HORRIBLE when it comes to cleaning windows and mirrors and I hate using window cleaner around my kids because I found out 30% of childhood asthma is caused by chemical exposure! That includes cleaning products! I’m always running around cleaning them before we have company over. Between wet puppy noses and baby finger prints (and the occasional full on lick), our windows tend to get pretty dirty around here.

With Earth Day coming up tomorrow, I thought I’d share this amazing safe and earth-friendly solution from e-cloth®, their Glass & Polishing Cloth! This is the perfect chemical-free solution for cleaning windows without spending too much time on them. All I do is spray the window with water, wipe the grime off and then buff with a dry part of the cloth. Not only does it clean our windows and glass beautifully, it saves me some serious money; 1 cloth replaces over 25 bottles of window cleaner through its lifetime!

In addition to being amazing when cleaning our windows and mirrors, I use the cloth to shine our faucets and stainless steel sinks! I also love the fact that instead of using endless paper towels, I can use one cloth for a task that used to take a ton of paper towels. A great way to help our environment!

If that doesn’t sell you on e-cloth® , here is a before and after. Cleaning this mirror took NO elbow grease, simply an e-cloth® and a bit of water. I also love that after using the cloth, I can throw it in the washing machine for the next use!

As you can see, the glass cloth does an amazing job! Even better? e-cloth® products are now available at Ace Hardware!

A few of my favorite tips for keeping your windows and glass clean:

Make time for it. Seriously. Once a week, just go by and give your windows a quick clean swipe. It will save you so much time in the future!

Teach your children (husband, etc.) to wipe off the bathroom mirror after their brush their teeth. This helps to reduce the spots on the mirror and keeps it cleaner longer.

If you have older children or even toddlers, teach them how to clean the windows. This is a fun task that most younger children can do.

Never heard of e-cloth before, much less used it. Looks like a good product. I laughed at your suggestion to use them after teeth-brushing. I’ve said for years that Windex needed to make a tartar-control formula!
