No bake lactation cookies like these are to help give new moms essential nutrients that are needed and can help improve milk supply.

How Do Lactation Snacks Work?

Breast milk production is driven by prolactin, a hormone that’s released during nursing. Prolactin not only triggers the development of milk-secreting glands in the breast tissue, but it also increases the body’s sensitivity to another important milk-making hormone, called oxytocin.

Keeping your levels of prolactin elevated can make for more efficient milk production.

The best lactation cookie recipes are made with ingredients that provide prolactin and oxytocin to increase your supply. Brewers yeast, flax seed, oatmeal and honey are all great for lactation snacks to help you produce healthy breast milk for baby!
