Epcot Rides

When you think of Disney World, you probably think of the delicious snacks, attractions, and festivals. Chances are you even plan your day around them! When it’s time to plan for all of the exciting EPCOT rides, wouldn’t it be great to have a planner that was made specifically for the park? I have you covered!
What does EPCOT stand for?
EPCOT is an acronym for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It’s a place where society can come together to create innovative technologies and share what they learn. If that sounds cool, then you’ll love your visit!
Not into technology? There are still EPCOT rides & attractions that everyone will enjoy! Spending time in the World Showcase may be your focus.
Park Planning at EPCOT
Planning your day at EPCOT & through the Worlds Showcase is a little different than planning your day at Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom.
With far fewer rides and the spread out areas, EPCOT guests need a solid plan for covering the park that spans more than twice the area of Magic Kingdom.
Mistakes to Avoid at EPCOT
Opening the app, browsing the Epcot park map, and asking questions may seem like a great way to get started on your day at EPCOT. However, if you don’t set out knowing what you want to see or do then it’s easy to meander through the park and miss attractions.
It also doesn’t help that EPCOT is enormous with multiple areas for you to explore! If you only have one day at EPCOT, it’s even more important to plan which Epcot rides are important to you and your family.
Here are a few mistakes that EPCOT visitors make that you’ll want to avoid:
- Running from ride to ride. Epcot is a huge park and it’s easy to rush from ride to ride without stopping and enjoying the whole park.
- Not knowing where you want to go. With more than 40 attractions, there is no way to see everything in one day.
- Not having a plan for the World Showcase. Some people spend all day in Future World and never make it to the World Showcase (or vice versa). It’s easy to miss EPCOT rides if you’re not careful!
- Don’t take advantage of Genie Plus or Individual Lightning Lane.
Best Rides at Epcot
Once you have a plan for your day, it’s time to decide what EPCOT rides will be most exciting for each person in your group. A little research and pre-planning is the key!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – This popular EPCOT ride is found in the France pavilion. It’s perfect for all ages and it is a spinning ride that will most likely have one of the longest waits.
Frozen Ever After – This EPCOT ride is in the Norway pavilion and loved by Disney guests of all ages. This is not a thrill ride, but if you love Disney Frozen then it will be worth the wait!
Test Track – Test Track is one of the most popular Epcot rides with long lines all day long. If speed isn’t your thing, then this may not be the EPCOT ride for you.
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros – This EPCOT ride is found in the Mexico pavilion and is a great way to get up-close and personal with Donald Duck on a fun boat ride.
Soarin ‘ – This EPCOT attraction takes guests over spectacular views across the Earth. If you haven’t tried this popular Epcot ride yet, you won’t want to miss it.
There are so many things to see and do in EPCOT it is nearly impossible to cover the whole park in one day.
