Dips are the perfect appetizer for any gathering. They are easy to put together, easy to store and easy to serve. This pickle dip is no different! Sweet, a bit of sour, and full-on delicious flavor, this dill pickle dip will be perfect at your next BBQ or party.

I love gathering together with friends and family. Whether it’s a summer BBQ or a New Year’s Eve party, there is just something about spending time with the ones you love and gathering around delicious food.

Serving dips is a tradition of sorts for any gathering in the South. Whether it’s a Million Dollar Dip, a Cookie Dough Dip or this Cold Pickle Dip (recipe below), you can be sure that your guests will gather around the dips on your table.

Why You’ll Love Dill Pickle Dip

Even if you’re not a pickle fan (I admit, I’m not a huge pickle fan), this dill pickle dip is one you will want to try. It is slightly sweet and slightly tangy but fully creamy and delicious.

Not only is it a creative dip to serve at any upcoming gathering, but it is also very easy to make and you can make it ahead of time which is a huge bonus!

How to Make Dill Pickle Dip

It’s so easy to make! Simply gather your ingredients, mix together and serve! I personally like to make this dip the night before so that the flavors have time to marinate together. Just be sure to store it in your fridge.

What if I don’t like Dill pickles?

Understandable, right? Not everyone likes the bite of the dill pickle. If you want to, you can sub out sweeter bread and butter, or baby gherkins for this recipe. It will have a different flavor profile, but will be awesome!

Can I sub out turkey bacon?

Absolutely! For those who don’t eat pork for any reason, cooking up turkey or beef bacon to a crispy finish, then chopping it up is a great way to still enjoy this recipe.

Do I have to use French bread to serve Dill Pickle Dip?

While that is my favorite way to serve this dip, you can also use crackers, pitas, or any other bread-type product to serve this.

Gluten-free crackers, pretzels, or bread work great as well!

How do I store pickle dip?

You’ll want to refrigerate this dip after you make it due to the cheeses in it. It will last in the fridge for 3-4 days. Be sure to store it in an air-tight container as well!

  1. This recipe looks incredible! I can’t wait to try it out. Would it be overkill to dip fried pickles into it? Thanks for sharing!
