Quick and easy dinner that can be ready in less than 30 minutes!
Sprinkle chicken legs with salt and pepper, if desired
Toss chicken legs with 1 cup barbecue sauce to coat.
Pour water into the pressure cooker liner and place the trivet inside. Put the chicken on top of the trivet.
Close the pressure cooker and set the value to sealing. Set the pressure cooker to manual or pressure cook on high for 12 to 15 minutes depending on the amount of chicken. When the cycle is complete, allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes prior to setting the valve to quick release.
Preheat the oven broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil (for easier clean up) and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Remove the chicken legs from the pressure cooker and place on baking sheet. Brush with additional barbecue sauce. Place under broiler and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Turn the chicken and brush with sauce again. Cook another 3 to 5 minutes or until barbecue sauce caramelizes. Repeat if desired for saucier chicken legs.
