Mix 2 cups of flour and 1/4 cup of sugar together

In a separate bowl, mix yeast and warm water together. Let proof for 10 minutes.

Add yeast mixture and egg to flour & sugar mixture. Mix (using dough hook or hand kneading) for 3 minutes.

Add remaining flour slowly and continue mixing/kneading until dough is somewhat sticky but thoroughly mixed together.

Cover with a damp tea towel and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size

Punch down and let rise for an additional hour or until doubled in size

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Roll dough out to approximately 3/4-1" thickness.

Cut into circles (I used a coffee mug, but you can use a circular cookie cutter)

Add to a lightly greased baking sheet

Melt 2 tbsp. of remaining butter and brush on tops of the sliders

Bake for 8 minutes

Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes
