Slow Cooker Sausage and Rice Casserole

  • 1 lb. mild sausage you can use hot if you prefer
  • 2 Cups White Rice Uncooked
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter unsalted
  • 1 8 oz. Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/4 Cup diced onion


  1. Cook sausage and onion in slow cooker until sausage is browned (you can also cook on stove top if you prefer)
  2. Boil 4 cups of water, add rice, reduce heat to simmer, cook until rice is cooked
  3. Combine cooked rice, sausage, salt, pepper, and cream of mushroom soup in slow cooker
  4. Dice butter and add to top of mixture
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours
