Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix your cherry pie filling and pineapple (do not drain) in the bottom of your pan and spread evenly.

Pour dry cake mix over the cherry and pineapple.

Place butter slices evenly over dry cake mix.

Sprinkle top with pecans.

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until golden. Let cool.
