Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Our family is focused on getting healthier this year and that means rethinking the way we snack.  One of my favorite healthy snack recipes are these peanut butter protein bites. 

They are a great alternative to peanut butter cookies and are a healthy choice for an on-the-go breakfast or after school treat.

Ingredients

– 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter – 1/2 Cup Ground Flax Seed – 1 tsp. vanilla extract – 1 Tbsp. almond extract – 1 Cup Steel Cut Oat

Off-white Section Separator

1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Refrigerate for approximately 1 hour. 3. Take approx.1 Tbsp. and roll into a ball.

4. Continue until you have used all of the mixture 5. Enjoy! 1-2 of these are the perfect morning snack!
