Honest Review: The Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville North Carolina

We recently stayed at The Inn on Biltmore Estate to celebrate our anniversary and it was exactly what we hoped for…peaceful, relaxing, and full of timeless elegance.

If you’re planning a visit to America’s largest home or looking for a luxury mountain getaway, here’s my full review of our recent stay at this Forbes’ four-star inn nestled on the landmark 8,000 acre Biltmore Estate in Asheville North Carolina.

From the large fireplace in the main lounge to the elegant guest rooms with mountain views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this luxury hotel offers the perfect blend of old world ambience and modern convenience.

First Impressions of the Inn on Biltmore

As soon as we passed through the main gate of the estate and made our way up the drive, we knew we were in for a treat. The Inn sits on a quiet hilltop overlooking the grounds of the Biltmore Estate.

The king sized bed was wrapped in luxurious bedding, the elegant window treatments framed our views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the whole space was beautifully decorated.

Our Room: Cozy and Luxurious

We had dinner at The Dining Room the first night we visited. The atmosphere was very formal and perfect for a romantic or special dinner.

We saw a few families with children during our stay, but to be honest, it’s not a place we’d bring our own kids. It felt more like a quiet adult focused getaway.
