Easy Semi-Homemade Apple Pie With Almonds – A rich and buttery pie crust filled to the brim with sweet apples and delicious almonds.

There is nothing quite like the smell of fresh apples baking in the oven. It’s a comfort dessert that reminds me of family gatherings and Thanksgiving.


– Refrigerated pie crust (or your favorite pie crust recipe) – Granulated sugar – Corn starch – Large egg – Unsalted butter – Dark corn syrup – Almond extract – Apple – Almond

 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9-inch pie pan with non-stick cooking spray, and place unbaked pie crust in the pan, fluting the edge.

In a medium bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in butter, corn syrup, and almond extract. Mix in the apples and almonds.
