Crockpot Breakfast Casserole

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It’s also important that it doesn’t take up a lot of your time as a busy mom. 

This Crockpot Breakfast Casserole is easy to make AND the whole family will love it. 


– bulk sausage – small onion, diced – green bell pepper, seeded and diced – shredded cheddar cheese, divided – frozen shredded hash brown potatoe – egg – heavy cream – Salt and black pepper as desired – cooked and crumbled bacon, optional – sliced green onion, optional

In a large (12 inch) skillet, brown the sausage, crumbling as it cooks.

When the sausage is almost completely browned, stir in the onion and bell pepper.

Prepare the liner of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. In the bottom of the slow cooker, place half of the shredded hash browns.
