Apple Sauce Coffee Cake Loaf

This delicious apple coffee cake loaf is a healthier version of the classic. It uses almond meal & spelt flour in place of white flour, & maple syrup, & coconut palm sugar instead of refined sugars. 

Coffee Cake: Almond meal Spelt flour Cinnamon Baking powder Teaspoon soda Coconut palm sugar Eggs Applesauce Brewed coffee Maple syrup


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.

Combine the almond meal, spelt flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and soda in a large bowl. Add the coconut palm sugar and mix well.

In a separate bowl, add the eggs, and stir in applesauce and coffee until well blended. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry and mix until well blended and set aside.

Combine the cinnamon, nutmeg, and coconut sugar for the topping in a bowl. Make sure that the spices are evenly distributed.
