This is one of the best beaches because it is super family-friendly, and they have lifeguards on duty, so you’ll always have extra eyes on your kiddos.

Vilano Beach

You can spend the day on the pier fishing or taking a long walk and enjoying the salty air on the boardwalk.

Fishing at the Beaches

We love to take the kids fishing on both of these fishing piers, but we have noticed that Vilano Beach is less crowded than St. Augustine Fishing Pier.

Fort Matanzas National Monument

We like to visit this old Spanish monument for both its history of it and it has a beautiful park surrounding it.
