The Top Meaningful and Useful Gift for Dad This Father’s Day

This post is sponsored by NexGrill. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Father’s Day is in just a few short weeks! It is creeping up on me, how about you? This is my husband’s second Father’s Day and now that Levi is a little more mobile (ok, a lot) and interactive, I knew that I wanted to do something special for my husband for Father’s Day. While a tie is a nice gift, I wanted to create an experience for him that he would remember. One thing that we love to do as a family is eat. In the South, we spend a lot of family time focused on meals and the same is true for our house. My husband especially enjoys fishing for trout in the spring/summer and grilling them. When I was thinking about Father’s Day gifts, I knew the perfect gift for him: a grill!

When I began researching the perfect grill for a Father’s Day gift, I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking for. I knew that I wanted a propane grill that would be easy enough to roll in and out of our garage for storage, but also large enough to cook for a large crowd. After shopping around and looking at many grills, I knew that NexGrill not only had the quality of grill that we wanted but also had the amazing customer service that I look for when purchasing from a company.

When the grill arrived, I was a little intimidated with how large the box was and was hoping that assembly wouldn’t be too difficult. Thankfully, this past weekend my dad and brother were in town and were here to help my husband assemble the grill. Needless to say, none of them were too happy about assembling a large item- but once they started, they were all in great spirits- the grill assembly process was smooth and easy! My brother recently assembled a grill at his own house and he said that the assembly for that grill wasn’t near as easy as the assembly was for our NexGrill. Win!

The real test with any grill is: how does it cook my food? While it isn’t quite Father’s Day yet, since my family was in town this past weekend, we decided to go ahead and ‘fire up the grill’ for a somewhat early Father’s Day celebration. Our NexGrill 720-0896B truly did raise the bar when it comes to grilling out. Not only are the 6 burners enough to cook a meal for a large crowd or a romantic dinner for 2, it has so many other amazing features that make grilling not only easy but also fun:IMG 4259

  • Blue LED Lighting making it easier to grill when it’s dusk or dark outside
  • The option to switch from Natural Gas to Propane
  • A side searing burner perfect for steaks or vegetables
  • Rotisserie burner which is ceramic infrared like the sear burner, the forks can hold up to 15lbs and is great for turkeys, prime rib, chickens, and much more
  • An advanced even-heat system that distributes heat across the grill and reduces flare ups

I am so impressed with our new NexGrill. My husband is thrilled with his Father’s Day gift and it’s a gift that we can enjoy together with him. We spent Monday evening this week outside as a family, grilling and having a wonderful time. If you are struggling with what to get dad for Father’s Day (or any other holiday), I highly suggest a NexGrill. It’s the perfect useful and meaningful gift for dad and a great way to encourage spending time together as a family!

This is bringing back nightmares of helping my brother put together his grill. He doesn't like to follow instructions so it took forever. LOL. My advice, get someone else to assemble it first.

A grill is fabulous Father's Day gift. There are so many new features on grills these days, upgrading to a new one sounds like a great idea.

This really is an amazing gift for dads! My dad just got a new grill so I wouldn't give him this, though. I'm still on the hunt for something I can get him!

This is an AMAZING gift! Something that can be used all year round, and as you said - it's an experience.

This is really nice! My husband doesn't grill much, but I know that my dad would love something like this for Father's Day. :)
