What’s your favorite food? That’s a question that we all get asked frequently and for years, my answer has always been “anything Italian”. Before we had Levi, we would frequently visit our local Italian restaurant and sit down for a lengthy romantic dinner. Now that we have a toddler, lengthy romantic dinners are few and far between.
With my husband’s birthday coming up in a few weeks and Levi’s 18 month “half birthday” today, we decided that we would meet for lunch to celebrate. We knew that we wanted an atmosphere that was family friendly, but that also offered delicious food without having to wait for hours because my husband was on his lunch break. After discussing our options, we decided on Fazoli’s®. I have only eaten at Fazoli’s once and it was a long time ago, so I was excited to try out a local restaurant that served Italian food.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly cashier who helped me through the ordering process. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and he made great suggestions. I decided on the alfredo and my boys shared cheese pizza.
After lunch, we decided that we wanted to celebrate our little one’s 18 month milestone and indulge a bit, so we both ordered a piece of their strawberry cheesecake. It was so delicious! I am pretty picky about cheesecake, but Fazoli’s cheesecake is some of the best that I have ever had. Levi also loved it!
One of the most exciting things about our lunch was learning that Fazoli’s menu is now completely free of artificial sweeteners, flavors, preservatives and colors. I try to limit what “junk” our family eats, but as you all know, that can be difficult when you are eating out. Knowing that Fazoli’s worked with nearly 50 suppliers to eliminate 81 artificial ingredients from their menu puts this mom’s mind at ease. I didn’t have to worry about what we were feeding our toddler, or our family for that matter.
We cannot wait to return to Fazoli’s and we plan to soon! Our family was able to eat at delicious meal, free of artificial ingredients for under $20. That is something that almost never happens! I highly encourage you visit your local Fazoli’s soon. If you do, be sure to use this coupon for $3 off $10 or more at Fazoli’s: http://bit.ly/2rSV9aP

My favorite foods are definitely Italian and Carribean foods because I'm Puerto Rican. I find that Carribean food is extremely tasty and not spicy.

Yes! His birthday falls so close to Christmas that we will likely be celebrating half birthdays for awhile!
