Our little one’s first birthday was last week! I still cannot believe that he is already a year old. We celebrated his actual birthday on Tuesday and then had his party on Saturday (which was also New Year’s Eve). It was such a fun party! We decided a few months ago to hold the party at a local BBQ restaurant called Firehouse BBQ. This restaurant was my grandparent’s favorite restaurant and the restaurant that catered our wedding. It’s a special little spot for our family, so it was only fitting to have our little one’s party there. The restaurant was actually an old Firehouse years ago and their party room upstairs was where the Captain lived! They have truly preserved the look and feel of the Firehouse! Today, I am excited to share a fun little recap of our little one’s Firetruck Birthday Party with you!
How adorable are the cake and cupcakes? Little Cake, our favorite local bakery provided them. They were just as delicious as they were cute!! Little man wasn’t one for making a mess with his cake, but once he got a taste of it, he kept eating handfuls of it!
The entire party group! We decided to keep his first birthday party to immediate family so he wouldn’t get overwhelmed. It worked out wonderfully! My hubby’s dad and grandmother even made the trip up from NC for the party!
4 Generations in one photo!
Can we talk about these adorable shirts? Our shirts (Mom and Dad) are from Conch Blossom Shop on Etsy and our little one’s shirt is from Kensington Mary Design on Etsy. I am over the moon with how these shirts turned out!!!
All three matching shirts from Conch Blossom Shop!! This was our little one’s ‘cake smashing’ shirt and it was so cute!
Thank you to everyone who came to our little one’s party and was a part in making it the perfect day for him (and us)!
