I LOVE fall! I love the cooler weather, the leaves falling and I love decorating for fall. When it comes to putting together a fall tablescape, you can spend a lot of money to create a beautiful table. However, I have found that less is more when it comes to a tablescape and today I am sharing with you how to create an Easy & Frugal DIY Fall Tablescape.
First, select a table runner that fits your decor. This will likely be your most expensive item in the tablescape. I recommend spending a bit of money to purchase a runner that you love-you can reuse this year after year.
Select a few pumpkins for your table. Pumpkins are a frugal and easy item to add to any tablescape. I prefer to add some faux pumpkins when I first set up my tablescape and then as it gets closer to Thanksgiving, I add in some real pumpkins from our local pumpkin patch.
Add Candle Holders & Candles. These are another easy and frugal addition to your tablescape. Whether you light the candles or use battery operated candles, they also add a nice ambiance to your dinner table.
Finally, add a small sign to your table. This is my favorite part of the tablescape. You can add in a chalkboard sign or a pre-made sign. Either way, this creates a conversation piece and also ties your tablescape together.
What’s your favorite item to add to a fall tablescape?
