What foods should not go in a slow cooker?

Although the slow cooker is perfect for countless recipes and foods there are some items that just should not go into your crockpot! For example, lean meats are not the best for the slow cooker because they will dry out. Dairy should not go into the crockpot because it’s easy to curdle and separate. Also, delicate vegetables will likely become way too mushy when cooked in this method.

We hope you enjoyed this post of slow cooker Thanksgiving recipe ideas! I am greatly anticipating it after seeing all these delicious dishes.
